(BISE Rawalpindi) started  In 1977, The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi (BISE Rawalpindi) started its working as a commanding body for conducting matriculation and intermediate examinations. It conducts examination within its jurisdiction and the present areas under its umbrella are district Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum.
BISE Rawalpindi announces date sheets for matric and inter exams a month before the exams commencement. BISE Rawalpindi conducts its matric examination in March and Inter exams in April. Announcements of matric and Inter results are usually made in July, August and September respectively.
